Had same problem with 98 2.7 liter - starts cold but if shut off warm, would not start for an hour or so. Was getting fuel but not spark. Take a chance and replace ASD relay in engine compartment fuse box (about $12.00 diy)
No...the rim will hit the caliper on the front.
If I knew I would not ask.
Only if the tire size specification for the Caravan will fit on the Intrepid rims, if the Intrepid rims are the same size as the caravan calls for, and if the bolt pattern is the same.
you have to find where the leak is first.
My 2000 Dodge Intrepid was made in Canada! Should have left it there, would have saved me years of problems and countless dollars in endless repairs. Wish I had never bought this car!
The 1999 Intrepid 2.7 litre has a 16 gallon fuel tank. I would guess the 1998 is the same..
change the plugs and wires
With enough time and money, anything is possible. But in a easy swap scenario, no. Used tranny's for a Dodge Intrepid can be found anywhere from $50-$500. So do the smart thing.
i had the same problem with my 02 intrepid it was the idler pulley to the ac belt $19 to fix it.
I would have to say no, being that in 1998 the Intrepid was rebuilt in the Chrysler format. Whenever there is a drastic rebuild like this, little to no parts from earlier models will be interchangable.
