The limited info in your question suggests that you have a very MAJOR problem: Badly slipping clutches inside your transmission. Once the clutches begin to slip, they can't recover ["get a grip"] until the input power is removed, which you accomplish by by "backing off of the accelerator, or stopping the engine. You really need a professional to check this out, and make the necessary repair [unfortunately, probably a very expensive transmission overhaul or best, a total rebuild]. You MAY [and I STRESS the may] be able to stretch JUST A LITTLE more life [use] out of your transmission IF you drive it VERY CAREFULLY, by being very gentle in the application of power, NO heavy foot on the accelerator!!! It MAY also help to reduce the problem, if you have the fluid and filter replaced, and the clutch bands adjusted. BUT, with your transmission as far gone as your question suggests, this MAY NOT WORK OR LAST very long, and therefore be a very bad WASTE OF MONEY. You really do need professional help on this issue.
