This year of truck has a separate circuit for the trailer turn/barke/tail lights. Look under the hood, under the fuse box. Look for the trailer fuses on the fuse directory

When you plug your boat trailer light to your 2006 GMC sierra the lights on the trailer will not come on if you use another truck the lights will work where do you look is it a fuse or a circuit break?

Trailer Lights Work on Other Vehicles but Not MineIF the lights [tail, turn, and brake] are working on your vehicle, AND the trailer lights will work on some other vehicle, that confirms:That the problem is NOT in your vehicle's wiring system. That the problem is either in the trailer wiring, OR is caused by the IMPROPER connection of the connector plug wires to the wiring of your vehicle. It is critical that the connector plugs [on the vehicle and the trailer] are properly connected to the correct wires. The fact that NONE of the lights work when connected to your truck suggests that the defect is related to the GROUND wireas that is the only wire common to all the different light circuits.

What do I need to hook-up under the hood There is no power to the center pin for the trailer plug at the bumper I am trying to energize my new electric trailer jack.?

The center pin of a seven blade trailer plug is for reverse lights, not power. What type of truck is it? What trailer plug do you have...

1995 Chevy blazer and all your lights work except brake lights but the third brake light works?

I assume you have checked/replaced the bulbs. Take a cicuit tester and check the wire harness connections under the bumper and around the trailer connector if you have one. The problem must be at that area IF all your other lights are working as you said.

Why would all trailer lights stop working suddenly?

When my running lights are working on my trailer my turn signal lights and brake lights don't work but if running lights are off turn signal and brake lights work?

I would check the running lights for one with a short. I had the same sort of thing with my trailer and I spent way to much time troubleshooting the brake and signal wires. Turns out a running light bulb connector was grounding out on the trailer and messing it all up.

Why would your running lights work on a trailer but not the turning and brake lights?

Trailer Lights Not Working ProperlyWithout being able to physically see and troubleshoot the defective trailer light wiring system [from the attachment to the vehicle wiring harness (s) all the way to each of the trailer lamps [light bulbs], one can only speculate.I suspect that the cause for part of the lamp filaments working properly while some don't is the result of connecting some wires to the wrong wires.

When are lights required to be installed on a trailer?

Lights are always required to be installed on a boat trailer. This is so no one runs into the back of the trailer, especially at night.

In a 2000 Malibu while installing trailer lights the tail lights and instrument panel lights quit working Brake blinker... all other lights working Fuses seem good What do I check next?

Check the park lamp relay. It is probably next to the fuse.
