IF the lights [tail, turn, and brake] are working on your vehicle, AND the trailer lights will work on some other vehicle, that confirms:
It is critical that the connector plugs [on the vehicle and the trailer] are properly connected to the correct wires.
The fact that NONE of the lights work when connected to your truck suggests that the defect is related to the GROUND wireas that is the only wire common to all the different light circuits.
This year of truck has a separate circuit for the trailer turn/barke/tail lights. Look under the hood, under the fuse box. Look for the trailer fuses on the fuse directory
They're on a different circuit. The parking and dash lights go through the headlight switch. It could be the switch, a bad wire/connector or a burned fuse.
Perhaps switch is bad Perhaps dimmer rheostat has an "open" in circuit
push in the e brake pedal 1 click
the running light circuit wire is brown. If you are looking in either the front marker lamps or the rear tail lights.
