The brake light on your Fiat Punto flashes when you activate the turn signal due to a shared electrical circuit or a fault in the wiring. This can occur if the indicator and brake light circuits are incorrectly connected or if there's a malfunction in the turn signal switch. It's a sign that there may be a need for inspection or repair to ensure proper functionality of the lighting system. If the issue persists, consulting a mechanic is advisable.
The brake light on most vehicles is not only an indicator that the parking brake is on, but that there is a problem with the system.
probably the parking brake indicator
I suspect a bad earth connection somewhere in the light cluster. Make sure there is no rust or other foreign bodies in the connector block. Try a little WD40 also. Check to make sure there is no water getting past the seals. It may be necessary to remove the entire lamp unit and fit a new seal to it.
replace front brake pads
