Well, this is obvious, he LIKES YOU why else would he get so upset? the only other reason for him getting upset, that i can think of, would be for the fact that maybe he knows people aren't treating you right then he would get mad but jealous? highly unlikely.

Erm im going to answer this question with another one. Why would you pretend to be jealous? If you really like this girl, im assuming its a girl i could be wrong, you wouldn't need to pretend to be jealous. And you don't need to show off, she'll like you for you not who you pretend to be.
