Recheck the wiring. If ok, the alternator can be defective. defective poor quality reman...especially if from Auto Zone.
NEVER EVER EVER buy a remanufactured electrical part from Advance. Their new (not reman) store brand ones aren't much better. If Advance is the only parts store you can get to and you absolutely have to have a starter or an alternator in your hands that very second, and a reman is all they've got,be sure to save the receipt 'cause you will be using the warranty.
The regulator on a 1994 Chevy is inside the alternator.
The alternator is not getting power? At any of the wires or just the main/largest one? If you are testing the large wire, this is the output side that runs to the battery. If there is no power in this wire where it connects to the alternator it must have a bad connection at the alternator or at the battery or a break somewhere in between. If there is power there, I would look at the fuses.
NO very easy actually, remove Battery Cable,H-Pipe, 2 bolts and 2 wires.
maybe its your alternator, if its giving off a weak enough charge, when you put the brake lights on, it drains too much power to run your engine. to check the alternator, start car, and remove the positive cable from your battery with some accesories running. if your car sputters, or stalls, just replace the alternator. hope this helps.
You need a 17mm wrench. All you need to do is rotate the tensioner pulley near the alternator and slide the new belt on. It is quite simple. I have a 1994 jetta 2.0l which I have done lots of work on, too much to list.
NO All engine accessories changed in 1994. The alternator will bolt in but the plugs are different as well as the amp rating. 1993 is a 75 amp unit and the 1994 and up models have a 130 amp unit.
Unfortunately the 2000 Mustang and 1994 Mustang are completely different body styles. The convertible tops are also different, so a top from a 2000 would not fit on a 1994. It might be possible to modify a top from a 2000 to fit on a 1994 but it would be costly and time-consuming; buying a top for a 1994 would be much easier.
It should be connected to the power steering pump which is under the alternator; probably right next to the battery.
yes, 1994 -- 2014 would fit, all are the same pattern !
There are many reasons why the anti-lock light would turn on in a 1994 Ford Mustang GT. One reason are bad ABS sensors.
no cause a 1994 may have a bigger engine
It would be best to remove the alternator and take it to an electrical shop.
The interchangeable part for a 1994 Mustang window crank handle would be a 1991 to 1993 Mustang window crank handle. This part can also be found at some salvage yards for automobile parts.
Yes, but with fabrication work. They have different floor pans, and it is not a "bolt out, bolt in" operation. Actually, 1 or 2 companies make adapter brackets so that they are a bolt out, bolt in operation. Can't think of the company names, but if you research it, you should be able to find it.
Begin by removing the belt from your 1994 VW Jetta alternator. Remove the alternator wiring harness. Remove the alternator retaining bolts.
Yes , a 1994 Ford Mustang is rear wheel drive
The alternator does not have a resistor. The alternator does not have a resistor.
