A speedometer might go out in the 1994 Honda Civic DX because of a faulty cable or fuse. It might also go out because of an electrical issue like exposed wiring.
I would say it would keep up with a trx700.....
speed sensor
The maximum speed would be only fifty five on all major highways because that is the legal speed limit.
The default manual transmission on a 1998 Honda Civic would be a 5-speed manual transmission. These are commonly referred to as "stick shift" cars.Ê
I would try oxygen sensor but you need to put it on the machine which will tell you for sure. good luck
The top speed is 128mph (2006 EX sedan). The speedometer would probably read 130. I drove it at 202 Kmp/h
THE VSS (vehicle speed sensor) ON MY 94 ACURA LEGEND WAS APPROX. 150 DOLLARS. I WOULD IMAGINE THE ACCORD SENSOR TO BE SOMEWHERE IN THERE...BB
Your idel speed my be set too low.
I had one in 1969, bought new for $595.00. Mine would go to 90 mph
1988 accord will not go into 5 gear
my s light would flash and it was the vss(vehicle speed sensor), i took my car to the Honda dealer and they checked it out, cost me $230.00 parts and labor.
It does not have a governor. Speed is computer controlled.AnswerWHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? Your driving to fast SLOW DOWN! if you want to get a Honda and a turbo to go fast not a truck! AnswerGetting a Honda would be the exact opposite of fast. You can change the computer by tuning it with one of those street tuner gadgets or installing one of those chip modulators.
