A week old chick is safer in a nice, clean, heated brooder until after it is 6 weeks old and fully feathered. When housed with mom, it depends on her to keep it warm and teach it to eat. Chicks raised by moms have a greater chance of getting coccisiodis and/or worms. Moms sometimes accidently crush one or more of the chicks, take it outside onto damp/wet grass, etc. If your chicks are housed with mom who is on an adult layer ration, how do you provice chick starter to your baby chickens, and how do you keep them from falling into the adult waterer and drowning?
I have heard that in certain species the first born of biggest chick will knock the others out so it gets all of the food. The strong lives the weak dies.
A young kiwi chick tends to stay in the nest for only a week. It fends for itself after this time, but may stay in the area where its parents are for up to three years, before finding its own territory.
it take a week
Maybe, but I doubt it because the chick would have to form, and grow, so I'm guessing that if it did hatch, there would be something wring with it because you'de have to turn up the heat.
how much do an employee at chick fil a get paid per week
Yes. Chick-fil-A is open all days of the week except for Sunday.
Are you referring to iD Tech Camps? If so, most of their camps have overnight and day options, so if you are an overnight camper, you would stay at camp for the week.
She wouldn't carry it off on her own; she can't. Sounds like she was attacked or threatened overnight by a predator and was forced to abandon her nest. I am sorry.
