sounds like you have a leaking head gasket
in this truck it would have a 12 valve 5.9 liter cummins diesel in it
The diesel engine in a 1988 Ford F-250 is ( a 7.3 liter ) from the factory. There were two diesel engines for 1988 the 6.9l and the 7.3 all most the same just a different bore. if you have a Manuel trans. the five speed would be a 7.3l and the four speed would be 6.9l .
This motor is not compatible with diesel engine parts. As this motor is generally used in smaller GM cars that are a little more than lightweight. You would need a motor for a GM truck to match with diesel parts.
1 liter of water weighs 1 kilo, so diesel would a bit less.
3 liter iszusu
The fan blade would be connected to it.
you have a busted seal on the torque converter. does it come out of the little spout tube between the transmission and the motor?
my miles this week is 68.3 how much would i cost the diesel price from shell is 136.9 can you help me please thank you
It depends what rpm the motor is running at and what displacement the motor is
The diesel fuel will ruin the rubber parts like the hoses and seals over time. I would drain and flush the entire system (engine block, radiator, hoses) and refill with 50% antifreeze and 50% clean water.
don't try it
Most likely a 5.9 liter cummins turbo diesel 12v
