in order to get more oxygen
If plants were to grow on Mars the proper artificial environment would have to be created by a colony and they could grow just about anything they chose. I would imagine it would be plants that would provide food for the colony.
There are a number of challenges and concerns for living in space. 1. Space is a vacuum. There is no air, no oxygen to breathe. We must take our own oxygen with us, and we must be able to filter out or reprocess the waste gasses like carbon dioxide that would certainly kill the crew if not kept under control. 2. There's no food in space. Astronauts must take their own food and water. 3. On the Moon, with lots of space and power, we can make problem number 1 solve problem number 2. On Earth, plants take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen; in the long run, we will need to do this too. Grow plants for food. LOTS of plants. Feed them with the waste that the astronauts produce; feces, urine, CO2. The plants will thrive, and produce vegetables, fresh water and oxygen. 4. Heat management: In space, you can't ignore the problem of either getting rid of or retaining the heat in the spacecraft. i really hope this helps :) xxx
there is 69 power plants in minnesota
There aren't any plants and animals on the moon because the moon doesn't have any oxygen for them to breathe. Plus the plants need sunlight or they will die.
It is usually believed that petroleum is the result of decay of living beings - i.e., plants and animals. Probably mainly plants. These plants get their energy from the Sun. Animals, which directly or indirectly eat plants, thus also indirectly get their energy from the Sun.
Plants clean the air by "exhaling" oxygen while absorbing carbon dioxide.
The two things produces by plants that would be important to keep astronauts alive on a long journey would be glucose and oxygen. Oxygen is most important.
to decorate the shuttle lol
Stevie Wonder's Journey Through 'The Secret Life of Plants' was created in 1979-02.
in space astronauts do experiments like growing plants and they fix satelites and they research things on computers.
Due to lack of gravity the roots grew upwards.
Plants could benefit astronauts by: 1- Using exhaled carbon dioxide (cleaning the air) 2- Producing oxygen for the astronauts to breath 3- Producing fruits or leaves to eat.
Plants and spicices like animals
The plants are in the first chamber on the Jungle Planet, where you find the Laser Lance. The plants spring upward in a repeating cycle, so you can get back up to the spaceship by letting each one throw you up to the next higher plant.
The Earth became so polluted that all the humans left the Earth on a Spaceship and all the animals and plants presumably died out.
She needs a spacecraft. or spaceship depends on how your spelling is.(:
