Muslims love both Muhammad and Jesus. Muslims don't believe that Jesus is God though and Muslims believe that Muhammad is just a man, not a God like how Christians believe Jesus is. Jesus is loved throughout the Muslim community and is regarded as the "messiah" but not as God. Islam teaches that God is 1 and God needs no partners
Muhammad is only venerated by his followers(Muslims)as a Prophet, where as the Lord Jesus Is worshipped by His followers(Christians)as the Son Of God.
Jesus rose from the grave and was seen by over five hundred people. As far as I know Muhammad is still in the grave, dead.
Theologians believe that Jesus began his ministry when he was about 30 years old and that would have been the time he would have selected his disciples.
Many Muslims get married in a Mosque or Masjid, but there are also some who choose to get married at home or a hotel, or any wedding hosting venue. It depends on the couple.
Muslims view Jesus as one of the five greatest God prophets (namely; Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad; peace be upon them). refer to question below for more information.
In rare cases some Christians religious believes would at the core be the same as that of Muslims, but Most christians would differ. The First item would be how each defines God. The Muslim view GOD as one and leaves it there, whereas a typical Christian would say God is one and .... associate Jesus and Mary with God in a divine manner almost equal to God. For Muslims it is forbidden to associate any partners with God, which clashes directly with the concept of the trinity. Christians believe that Jesus died for our sins, Muslims don't believe that and that only God can forgive sins. Muslims follow many of the laws prescribed for the Jews, while accepting Jesus as a prophet and messenger of God. Many Christians accept Jesus as God himself and not as a humble prophet of God.
In Islamic belief, Muslims believe that god (Allah) would not allow Jesus to suffer and therefore took him out of his misery before he could feel any form of pain. Muslims believe that Satan took his place instead and made it seem as though it was Jesus feeling the pain.
I take it that you mean why did Jesus choose the Jews. The answer is that if He had chosen any other nation they would have all been coverted to his teachings. Jesus knew that the Jewish nation would be the only one to crucify Him.
The Muslim name for Jesus, as is more often used by Muslims, is Isa, not Easa. Once you know the correct spelling it does not resemble the name Easu. Isa is simply the Arabic word for Yeshu so it isn't meant as an insult. They are not changing the name, but using a derivative of the same name that is meaningful to them. Yeshu is the more common name for the name Jesus by Christians throughout Asia and Africa.
To be honest. I don't think most Muslims are aware of who Pastor Franklin Graham is. However, all that he seems to have said was that Christians worship Jesus while Muslims do not and most Muslims agree that this is a major difference between themselves and Christians. Their major disagreement would have been his unspoken point which would be to say that because Muslims do not worship Jesus they are somehow worse off morally, politically, ethnically, or religiously. Understandably, if you tell somebody that their beliefs are less moral or less valid than yours, that will provoke resentment.
Muslims believe that God is One, without parent, partner, or progeny, and, hence, do not practice communion. Muslims believe that God is One, without parent, partner, or progeny, and, hence, do not practice communion.
Muhammed (pbuh)peace be upon him, was in the cave of hira, when the revelation came to him. He did not know a revelation would come that day. he did not create the religion God did. His ob was to guide people to the right way. we muslims believe in all prophets. God sent this religion to Muhammed (pbuh) because the people got corrupted and were worshipping false idols. Islam would later be the peace of humanity. Hope that answers your question(:
Muslims do not celebrate Easter, much like Christians do not celebrate Ramadan. For most Muslims, besides seeing a lot of bunnies and eggs in the store, Easter is just another day. Muslims do believe that Jesus lived, but they do not have the same beliefs about him as Christians. They do not have a crucifixion story as part of their history of his life, so there would be no resurrection to go along with it.
Khalid Abdul Muhammed was born on January 12, 1948 and died on February 17, 2001. Khalid Abdul Muhammed would have been 53 years old at the time of death or 67 years old today.
