Look in the carb and push the throttle, if there is no fuel, it could be the fuel pump. Pull a spark plug wire off and check for spark, put a screwdriver or similar piece of metal in the boot and lay it near a good ground on the engine, crank over and watch for spark, if no spark, replace the ignition module inside the distributor. Need more help contact me through my board and I will try to help.
check for a spark from you r#1 cylinder and if it is fine then it is fuel related. If it's not fine check your distributor cap for wear
fuel pump in the gas tank
If it just cranks and cranks and cranks then it's likely fuel pump. If it died and it won't turn over anymore, likely alternator.
98 Oldsmobile 3.8 cuts off will driving wait a few min's an it cranks back up
Not sure what your question is : What's wrong with the windows ??? You can get the cranks from the auto parts store in the HELP section (The Red Packages that say HELP but you need to get the clips also)
No you were driving and it quit.and if it cranks it is turning over. check for spark at the spark plugs and also for fuel pressure at the injector rail.
it is easier to pedal with longer cranks because you have more leverage but it is not necessarily better to have really long cranks.
On one had you say it cranks and then you say it won't turn over. Which is it? If it cranks, then that means it IS turning over but just won't start. If it won't crank then it is NOT turning over. We need to know which it is to determine what may be causing this. Repost this with a better description of your situation
TCC Solenoid.
do you mean it cranks, but will not start?
Cranks Creek Lake was created in 1963.
If the engine cranks & cranks & cranks before it starts even though it's warmed up already.
