The brake that is locking up on the 97 Lincoln probably has either worn pads or a sticking caliper. Check the brakes soon, as the problem could cause a wreck.
My 92 Silverado right front brake sticking why
brake switch located on the top of the brake pedal
Front disk brake pads will usually run you $75.
The tools you would need to replace front brake pads are, a wrenche (size varies depending on vehicle type), a clamp tool, and brake pads.
You would push down on both the front brake and the back brake. You would want to put a little more pressure on the back brake and slowly add pressure to the front brake. If you slam on the front brakes there is a possibility that you will fly over the handle bars. I know from experience and it is not fun. I hope this helped.
You need 3/8 Allen key.
it would be brake line ,if it pulls to right it would be the left one,if it pullss the left it is right one.sames to the caliber.
Year, make and model of vehicle would help along with front brake, rear brake or e-brake information.
It would be unusual to have the same brake pads front and back. That is not to say it does not happen but normally the brake pads on the driven wheels are bigger than the passive wheels.
