To answer this question it would be helpful to have more information for example if your vehicle is older with high miles a worn out distributer can cause this problem
the engine is constantly vibrating and it dislodges the spark plugs
I would recommend the OEM spark plugs, AC/Delco. Excellent plugs.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.
They had 2 engines available, a 2.4L 4 cylinder which would have 4 spark plugs and a 3.4L V-6 with 6 spark plugs.
Depends on the type of spark plugs. Factory plugs around 70 - 100k depending on the condition of the plugs. I would replace the spark plugs out with some AC Delco iridium plugs they will last you 100k+.
Use the same spark plugs as you would with a distributor, but reset the gap to .020".
Same as you normally would in any other car, depends on the spark plugs.
where would the spark plugs at on a Oldsmobile 1989 engine
I would replace the spark plugs after 50K, the wires and plugs again at 100K.
spark plugs are located in the side of the head you remove them with a spark plug socket tip for you if you dont know where spark plugs are or how to remove them, i would get someone that does know, to do it or at least show you
It can be complicacated since on some models the spark plugs are difficult to get to but I would recommend to find the spark plugs first and then double check to make sure you know where they are.
when do you change spark plugs
