It could be that there is a corrupt file or two in Outlook, causing it to work improperly. Or, it could be that the preferences have been set to prevent deleting stuff. Outlook can be configured in a huge variety of ways, with a ton of different options to choose how it works. Check that out before reinstalling. If you don't have an antivirus program, it might be that a virus is causing the trouble. However, if you don't have antivirus, this is probably the least of your worries. Good luck. Thanks for your answer. The application here is actually "Office Outlook Web Access" Mail arrives there and can be deleted there.
