Check to see if the oil pressure comes back up when the engine is at running speed. If so, you're seeing evidence of main and/or rod bearing wear. Change to a heavier grade oil. If you've been using an oil with a 5 in the viscosity number, change to a 10 or even a 15. The manufacturer always recommends an oil, but that is for engines that are new. Once the bearings start to wear you need the thicker oil. That's why it's available.
Well, it means that your oil pressure is wrong. Either too high, too low, etc. This can be caused by sludge in the engine or it's oil pressure sensor, also your oil level could be too low or too high. Check your oil level and condition.
Faulty oil pressure sensor, very common issue on these.
Bad sending unit in tank.
Check sending unit or sending unit wiring for short to ground. Also could be a plugged oil line causing a spike in pressure. Try installing a mechanical gauge to get an accurate pressure reading.
The only way to find out for sure is to have the cooling system pressure tested.
No, Harry would not date an 11/12 year old. 1999 is 13 and 14 actually so he probably would if he likes you! <3
I have a 1998 Sport and have several times gotten the low fuel light. Never actually have run out of gas and I have driven up to about 15 miles with the light on.
The oil pressure gauge in a 1999 Ford Explorer is ELECTRIC
You would have to install a gauge on the differential vent, usually located at the top of the differential at the left side
1999 Chevy table oil pressure gauge low and check gauges flickering
Six-year the oil pressure gauge for your 1999 Mitsubishi eclipse with the retaining screws. Connect the oil pressure gauge wiring harness.
The fuel pressure of a 1999 Oldsmobile 3.8 liter V6 is 35 psi. A fuel pressure gauge is needed to measure the fuel pressure.
recharge gauge shows pressure of 70 psi
Replace oil sending unit with a manual gauge
first test pressure with a professional test kit a mechanical one let engine reach operating temp. this will be you true pressure, sometime the electric oil pressure sending unit is not compatible with your gauge and give a inaccurate reading.your pressure is way to high, did you put a high pressure race pump in? if not you have a bad pressure regulator valve in your pump 60 psi is plenty to much will start blowing oil seals
Freon is added through the low side pressure port. A gauge will be needed to check that the system is not overfilled. The Freon and gauge can be bought together as a kit.
Audi A4 1999 1.9TDi Oil pressure light on continously. Engine sounds fine. How do I remove electrical connector to remove switch and check pressure with a gauge?
Hopefully (for you) just a bad oil pressure sending unit Install a manual gauge to actually check the vehicle's oil pressure
replace temperature gauge
