Hey Sim==If it does it only while the engine is running, the sending unit could be inacurate. You need to install a manual gauge to see what the actual reading is. If it goes to red before starting the engine the wire to the sending unit is probably disconnected. Good luckJoe

It means that one gauge is not in the safe zone. Check the engine temp, oil pressure, battery/alternator voltage,It means that one gauge is not in the safe zone. Check the engine temp, oil pressure, battery/alternator voltage,
Attach a fuel pressure gauge at the throttle body on the top of the motor to determine fuel pressure. Gauge can be borrowed at auto zone and they can assist as well.
Pressure Zone was created in 1999.
No. the pressure of the water would kill them.

no,a starfish does not live in the midnight zone it lives in the sunlit zone (if a starfish lived in the midnight zone it would not survive because the incressed water pressure.)
Quite simply, extremely unlikely. The oil pump is a means of keeping the oil flowing to the vital areas of the engine. Real oil pressure is (for the most part) created by the main and big end bearings. I would double check your pressure by tapping into the sensor port with a mechanical gauge, you most likely have a defective gauge or sender. Your oil pressure should drop a little as the oil heats up and begins to thin out, not increase.
It is about 200 degress of pressure
