If your radio will not shut off when you turn off the car, there may be an issue with the wiring. If your car has the feature where your radio will not turn off until you open the door, that is normal. However, if you have an aftermarket radio, the wiring is most likely the cause.
The wires are proboly came loose or something.
Hmmm. I've never had this problem with my 2003 PT Cruiser. I suspect that it is an electrical fault; do other things go off at the same time, or is it just the radio?
The remote wire is not hooked up. It should be a small blue wire, just take the radio out and hook thise remote wire up and then the radio should turn off when the car is turned off.

Some cars have a time delay before it turns off. I had a Buick Park Avenue that was like that. If you open the door the radio should go off. If not, you may have a wiring problem.

Your radio must be poorly installed in your car for you to reset your stations every time you turn your car off. A car radio ultimately rely on 3 wires for it to function properly. 12 volt wire- Gives Continuous Positive current to radio. Saves your settings, and Saves your stations when your car is off and on. Ground wire- Gives Negative current to radio. Work with the Positive current going to your radio coming from the 12 wire. Without this wire connected, your radio wont function at all. Accessory wire- Will only provide Positive current to radio when the car turn ON. This wire is used to make sure the radio will turn on with your car. The reason you have to keep resetting your stations every time you turn on your car is because someone connected both 12volt wire and Acc wire that's from the radio into the Acc wire in the car. There's no continuous positive current going to the radio when the car is off because the 12volt wire in the car was not used. I'm a professional MECP Certified Mobile Electronic Installer. Switch the car keys with some other keys (house keys, keys for the back door, etc). Tell the person you cut their car brakes and you strongly suggest they don't drive in it. Turn the radio on, turn it to full volume, turn it off, let them get in the car - when they turn the radio on - BOOOOM!
To manually tune the radio in an Opel Corsa you need to turn off RDS. When RDS is on the car will cycle through the radio stations that are available.
well first you have to turn the car on then turn off the radio hit set then you use the scan and seek button to change the time then turn the radio back on and then it is set.
Turn your radio off before you shut your car off.
Turn your key to accessory, but watch out, it will drain your battery
Try taking the power lead from you radio and run a wire directly to your battery. This will bypass anything that will cause noise on your radio. Just remember to turn it off when you get out of the car!
