Sounds like an intermittently open circuit. Check for loose or cooroded connections at the socket where you plug in the light bulb. Also you could clean and adjust the socket itself for a snug fit. You'll notice two soldered points on the bottom of the bulb, these points should fit snugly into the socket casing. Use a pair of needle nose plyers to gently pull the small strip of metal, located in the center of the socket, a little at a time until a snug fit is obtained. If there is any play between the bulb and the socket this could cause intermittent operation. Make sure your head lights, brake lights and running lights are off before making adjustments.
How you change fog lights bulbs on a 2004 Toyota Corolla
check the fuses
Check fuse for parking lights (same circuit) Check bulbs could be a bad headlight switch
If your 92 Toyota Corolla taillights are out, but the dash light and fuse work fine, the bulbs could have burn out. Replace bulbs on each side.
bad fuse, bad switch or bulb montiner
Check the bulbs first, I've seen where both burn out and you can be lead to believe you have an electrical problem.
First off are your dash lights out if so its more likely to be a fuse that you need to replace check your owners manual the dash lights in a corolla are LED lights so its not likely they have burned out. if your looking to change the color of the bulb go to an audio installer for directions on removing your dash panels to get at the bulbs to replace them there's one in your center section and i don't know about the instrument cluster
What model of Corolla ? You have to take the dash board out and the bulbs can be removed and replaced from the back. The dashboard on the Corolla is not that difficult to take out, but you have to do it slowly and carefully.
It could be caused by a bad ground or severed wire somewhere.
Headlights are light bulbs not too much different from the bulbs in your home...they must be periodically changed. In short...you have a blown bulb. If you replace the bulb and the lights still do not work you must check the fuse to see if it is blown. If it is not the bulb or the fuse, you have an electrical problem requiring a mechanic.
