Check your fuses

AnswerThis is common and may be as simple as a fuse.. At least that's what happend to the one I used to own..the airbag light may come on next. Check all your fuses INSIDE AND OUT or it could be the wiper motor and if worse come to worse call the dealership and they will give you free advice!

A couple things could have happened. First check the fuse for the wipers,in the fuse box. Should be on dash on driver side,near the door. Look towards the bottom. The relay might be bad,that box is under the hood. Wiper motor could be bad or the swing arm that moves the wipers could be broke. Do you here the wiper motor at all?

You need to check for 12v at washer pump connection when washer turned on. If 12v present at harness connector but pump not working, replace pump. If pump is working, but no fluid coming out at wipers, you will need to remove front hose and blow out any debris clogging hose.

check the ground wires on each side of the rad. if there is a poor ground it will cause all kinds of electrical problems, like the wipers turning on,lights not working, transmission not engaging to name a few.

The wiper motor has a switch inside of it. When they are turned off and the wipers go to the down position it trips the switch in the motor that tells the computer they are in the down position. If that switch in the motor is faulty, the wipers are repositioning until the switch is tripped to the off position. THE FIX.... Replace the wiper motor.
