we breathe out oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, same components as the air we breathe in,
When your arterial blood goes though arteries and capillaries, it is full of oxygen, so when it goes through the capillaries it gives all the O2 to cells and tissues and collects all kinds of metabolism's junk, including CO2. Later the blood goes back to the heart though the veins and then to the lungs, where it gives away CO2, so the air you breath away has CO2, cause its kinda poisonous and has to be carried away
Carbon dioxide is a byproduct of respiration that occurs within cells. It is expelled out of the body through the respiratory system. That's why there is carbon dioxide in your breath. A lesser amount is attributed to carbon dioxide already in the atmosphere which we breathe in.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
If you held your breath, the carbon dioxide levels in your body would rise making it harder and harder for you to maintain holding your breath.
Although the molecule is broken up it does not change the fact that it is carbon dioxide. Therefore you still have carbon dioxide.
I'm afraid that would be impossible as plants take in carbon dioxide and produces oxygen not carbon dioxide
We release carbon dioxide for them to breath and they release oxygen to help us breathe and that's why without plants the world would be empty plants would have died because we would of died , pets will of died as they wouldn't have us. Animals in the wild etc.
there would be no more global warming but all the plants would die from lack of carbon dioxide then we would all die. sad world.
You breath in carbon dioxide all the time. It's in YOU! So, nothing would happen, but smoking is BAD! Killing the environment!
I don't believe carbon dioxide has a liquid phase! It exists only as a solid (dry ice) and as a gas. Therefore it would be impossible to heat liquid carbon dioxide.
If you held your breath, the concentration of oxygen in your lungs would decrease. The concentration of carbon dioxide would increase in your lungs.
Hedges, & trees soak up excess water(rainfall) from land, but if they were removed, it would cause more floodingAs we breath out carbon dioxide, they take the carbon dioxide inside of them, and they breath out oxegyn, therefore, if they were removed we would have less oxygen.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
A gas is something you would find mostly in carbon dioxide which is what we breath in. Gas is in lots of things. Like liquid.
Carbon dioxide.
Generally, yes. Plants "breathe in" carbon dioxide and "breathe out" oxygen. Carbonation in water is suffused carbon dioxide, so we would expect that the extra CO2 would promote plant growth.
If there were no plants on Earth, there would be no alternative life. This is because of Photosynthesis; the plants breath in the Carbon Dioxide and breath out Oxygen; which we need to live, and would die without.
Oxygen (O2) from the atmosphere. However we also breath in (inhale) nitrogen. but nitrogen does not have any known effect on humans , and so in exhales also as nitrogen. We also breath in traces of other gases, such as the noble (inert) gases except Carbon dioxide. We exhale (breath out) carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is required in the lungs to maintain a breathing rate. If no CO2 was present in the lungs we would probably pant, or breath in an uncontrolable way.
The concentration of carbon dioxide over an industrial site might be higher, because of the emissions, however, carbon dioxide mixes well with other gases, so it will spread out all over the world.
