Assuming that your rubbing alcohol is 70% alcohol, I would mix 1 cup of alcohol for every 2 cups of distilled water. If you use tap water, you could get mineral deposits in your windshield washer tubing. Also, I wouldn't try using rubbing alcohol in an older car, because it might still use rubber tubing. This would be damaged by the isopropyl alcohol.

Do NOT Drink Rubbing Alcohol It can cause blindness. Rubbing alcohol is "isopropyl" alcohol, not the same chemical as grain alcohol, ("ethyl" alcohol). Don't drink it! Rubbing alcohol is POISONOUS to drink!
