Obviously the lawsuit has been filed and in the system. County records are public information and many ambulance chasing lawyers troll for customers there. Those are typically the lawyers who look for quick resolution to a case, typically by seeking approaches that may not be in your best interest, but gets everything over with so the lawyer gets paid. Try to avoid them if you can, and if you need professional legal advice, find someone reputable.
