To become a police detective, you have to first become a police officer. Personally, it is my life's dream and ultimate goal to become a police officer. I can dream of no job better, more exciting or rewarding than becoming a member of law enforcement. You are always on your toes and help people, even when they may not want it. Being a police officer put you in the best spot to change your community for the better and make it safer for everybody.
