The ABS light may be co-incidental... when alternators and batteries fail, all kinds of other electrical systems go haywire... check the alternator, and the battery and all the cables from the battery to the engine and wiring... for more see a manual See if your local library has a professional shop manual to look at for free... dave

something is draining the battery. a new battery will last a couple days if just starting the car. even if your alternator is bad.

Battery light usually means alternator not charging. Most common solutions would be be a bad alternator, bad connection, or loose alternator belt. If the battery and alt test ok than check the connections to the alternator and battery.
