It could be the switch is bad, but that seems unlikely. Perhaps the low beams blew out? Or maybe it's a fuse.
Type your answer here... How do you remove ignition switch from 1992 ford explorer?
It is built into the headlight switch.
its got to be two things either your headlights or the headlight switch, theres no relay so straight power from the battery to the switch to the headlamps. just change your headlight and it should work.
how to adjust headlights on 1992 silverado
Sounds like switch may be defective
try e brakes..turn the e brakes on and see if it turns off.if it does then you have suto headlights
The dimmer portion of your headlight switch is bad (you will have to replace the entire switch). If you can not afford a new switch or don't have the time to do it now remove your dome lights and carry a flashlight in your glove box. The switch is not all that complicated to replace if you choose to do it yourself and take your time. Dave K.
No because most transmissons are unique and the 1996 is older than the 1992,now if u was tryin to put a 1992 into a 1996 it would work
How do you replace evaporator on a 1992 ford explorer?"
No, the door on a 1998 Ford Explorer will not fit a 1992 Ford Explorer.
In front of the battery, directly behind the headlights on the passenger side. Follow the wires from the fan switch on the top of the radiator.
Starting with the 1995 model year of the Ford Explorer the AUTOMATIC transmission was ELECTRONICALLY controlled ( so the answer would be no )
