Can you put a Xbox 360 hard drive from a xbox 360 with red rings can you put it in a working xbox360?

If you want to sign into another Xbox 360 with all the stuff you had on your xbox( achievement's, downloads, etc). All you have to do is sign out and go on the option sign in when you go on that it should give you some options to "SIGN IN" you then go on the option that says "Recover Gamertag". When you are on that option wait for everything to set up or download updates which it might say. When it has loaded it should give you the option to say your gamertag, so go ahead and wright it and click continue, after that type in your email address and your password. (If you do not know password like me you have to do some stuff which i cant remember so sorry but if you do just ignore this) after you have typed the email and password continue again and you will just have to wait for it to download all your gamertag on to that.
So you should have your gamertag onto another xbox.

∙ 10y agoIf you are moving from one XBOX 360 to another 360, and the hard drive itself was working when the old one failed, then yes, this should be possible. If you're not comfortable physically swapping out the hard drives, you may also purchase a data trasfer cable from Microsoft, or, for 32G of data or less, you can use a thumb drive or external hard drive. Your success with the latter may depend on whether or not the old console is in working order at the time of transfer.

∙ 14y agoyes but all the info from the one your using will be moved to the one your moving the hard drive too and you wont be able to save on the one with out a harddrive because there will no memory.
