it depends on the bolt patterns but don't c y not but if its a 4x4tranny it may not if the Mazda isn't a 4x4
Mazda used the ford ranger body but used the Mazda engine.
will a 1997 Mazda 626 transmission or engine interchange with a 1999-2002 Mazda 626 transmission or engine
No. Ford Rangers may have a variety of manufacturers parts in one engine. For example, my Ranger has a Mitsubishi motor with a Mazda transmission.
Depends which one, 2.3 for sure is a Mazda engine
It should be a mazda transmission most likely
can you answer the question i have a 1990 ford ranger with a Mazda manual transmission what fluid does it require
NO!! The Mazda engine and ford engine are totally different period.Mazda was still strickly Mazda until 1993. It was not until 1994 when Mazda and ford became the same on engine and tranmission similarities. You need a Mazda engine for your Mazda transmission.Note the 1986-1993 Mazda bseries trucks are all Mazda manufactured.Ford is not interchangeable with these models period.
80-90 w gear lube ANSWER Motorcraft Mercon Automatic Transmission Fluid in your 1993 Ranger manual (Mazda )transmission (YES - ATF ! ) 80 gear lube was used in 1991 + 1992 for the Mitsubishi manual transmission / 2.9 L engine equipped Rangers
Ford, Mazda, it doesn't matter, it's the same transmission in both Mazda and ford.
The 2.9 engine is a completely different engine family than the 3.0. I had a '91 ranger with the 2.9, and that was coupled to a Mitsibushi transmission, where the 2.3, 3.0, and 4.0 engines with manual transmissions are all coupled to a Mazda r1 manual transmission. My point is this-I do not think that the transmission mounting is the same. There is 2.9 engines on e-bay on occasion.
The 626 has a PCM which controls both the engine and the transmission.
On a 1994 Ford Ranger : The 5 speed manual transmission takes ( 2.8 U.S. quarts of MERCON automatic transmission fluid ) ( transmission code " M " / Mazda )
