i want to know if i can put 265/75r16 on my stock 2003 Nissan pathfinder with changing anything.
somebody help with this qauestion please. yes or no
Yes I believe it should. I own a 1988 Pathfinder and have 31 inch tires on it with no lift.
Yes they will fit but if you crank the steering all the way you rub a little depending on the tire tread.
Tires and/or wheels out of balance?
Shoulder on tire worn Try rotating or replacing tires
Motorcycle tires.
The quick answer is no. Off the top of my head the reason is this. The bolt pattern from the Pathfinder is probably not the same as the Suburban. And the tires on the Pathfinder are probably not rate high enough to carry the weight of the suburban safely.
Pathfinder tires are cheap tires that can be purchased at Wal-Mart. There are better tires though this will cost you more. The better tires will last longer than the Pathfinders though and give you a more comfortable ride.
Your Maxima will need to be rather new to get tires and rims from the dealership as they normally do not carry old stock. If it is a newer car, check out Nissan of Omaha. They have a large selection.
The size of the pathfinder tires may vary depending on the trim level and the year. Sizes varies between P215/75R15, 28" and P285/70R17 33". Best to ask a tire store like NTB if the tires you have will work.
The largest recommended tires are 265/70/15 and that is what I have on mine. They do not rub anywhere and fill the wheel well up and look nice. Years ago, my son had a '97 and he put 31X10.50X15 tires on it. They rubbed at the extreme turning of the wheel, but not unless you deliberately tried to make them rub. They were about as large a tire as I would be willing to try. You can find 31X10.50's a lot easier than you can 265/70's and you will have a better price selection also.
