Front fenders are the same on, 1982-87 El-Camino. 1982-83 Malibu.
Any hood from a 1978-83 Chevy Malibu or 1978-87 El Camino or GMC Caballero would work.
No, 1978- 81 are the same or 1982-1987 are the same. looking at pictures of the 2 fender groups the hood, door seam even the front grill angles are different.
305 V8
it will fit now it only depends what year of Corvette engine and you need the turbo 400 tranny for it because you will blow the gears on it if is not the 400 you also need all the wiring and computer but it does fot i am doing the same proyect on a 83 firebird and i am installing a 98 corvette engine. let me know if you have more questions here is my email speeding4life@hotmail.com
305 cu. In. V8.
The 1983 Chevrolet El Camino used a stock 14 inch wheel with a P205-75R14 tire.
12 volt 300 amp side posts
Pretty much any wheel will fit on any car unless the wheel takes 5 bolts and the car takes 6 ^ That's not true, the rims off of my 83 GMC pick-up wont fit on my 89 Camaro and they are both 5 bolt. It all depends on bolt pattern, the GMC is a 5 x 5 1/2 and the Camaro is a 5 x 4 3/4 all that means is that it is a 5 hole with a 4 3/4" diameter around the holes. So if the 07 Vette rims have the same bolt pattern as the 88 then it will fit but i believe the spacing is a little different.
Any steering column from a 1978-83 Chevy Malibu, 1978-87 El Camino, 1978-88 Monte Carlo could work, depending if it's a column or floor shift
sure it can be done, just put in V8 motor mounts and a bigger radiator.
only a 350
