Claybar and waxing will not affect microns if done properly.
Waxing your vehicle isn't going to necessarily add Microns but it is going to protect the microns that you do have from loosing any more. This is why its very important that you maintain the waxing and polishing of your vehicle in at least monthly maintinece of some kind, waxing your vehicle every 3-6months. I strongly recommend looking into ceramic coating as it will add microns on your vehicles surface and give you added protection.
