Qantas third airline to receive the a380
Not according to Qantas Airlines, who has several A380 in their fleet.
Yes Qantas A380's For Example Are Named After Famous Australian in Aviation
As of December 2009, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qantas, and Air France have A380 operating in their fleet.
There are many carriers now flying the Sydney to LA route which for years was dominate by Qantas. At present the carriers include: Qantas V Australia United Delta Airlines Of the above carriers the picks would have to be Qantas who fly the A380 on the route or V Australia who are flying new 777 craft. United and Delta fly much older craft on the route. Personally I would choose Qantas due to the potential Delta joint venture with virgin which could see them sharing aircraft on the route. In the case of Qantas the Flight Numbers to look for are QF93 and QF94 to find the A380 operated sectors. See the related link below for complete listing of all routes and schedules flown by the A380. Includes schedules and routes for Qantas, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, and Air France (from Nov09).
Los Angeles is the closest highly populated American city to eastern Australia. Qantas airlines, it is the new a380 that makes the trip.
As at March 2010, only four airlines own and operate the Airbus A380: Air France, Emirates, Qantas and Singapore Airlines.
There are four main airlines currently using the Airbus A380, which is the largest passenger airliner in the world. These airlines are Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, and Lufthansa.
At present no... The only carrier who currently fly the A380 to Los Angeles (LAX) is Qantas who opperate flight between LA and Sydney and LA and Melbourne. Qantas and Singapore Airlines both fly between Singapore and both Melbourne and Sydney so you could fly the A380 all the way to LA just not without a stopover also you have to take Qantas for at least one sector. See the related link below for complete listing of all routes and schedules flown by the A380. Includes schedules for Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Air France (from Nov09).
