Be sure to recognize that the window rails of the doors are different. On the Chevelle, the top structure of the door is relatively square and on the El Camino it is slanted, therefor some bodywork will be required to swap doors.
measure the two wheelbases to find out, if they match then yes, if no you can extend or shorten the frame. 1964 Chevelle, 2 door or 4 door, hardtop or sedan frames interchange. Convertible will fit but the 2 door or 4 door, hardtop or sedan will not fit the convertible.
A standard Chevelle frame will not fit an El Camino as it was based on the station wagon frame
