Will a 1989 Grand Am 2.5L V6 radiator fit in a 1988 Grand Prix 2.8L V6?

If you can remove both radiators from the cars compare the hose entrances and exits, lines entrances and exits, and the mounting screws, if everything looks the same, install it. Good luck with your car, let me know how it goes.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May just be a plug located at the bottom or rear of radiator

In the 1989 Grand Prix, the oxygen sensor is in the tail pipe. Look for a wire that is plugged into both the tail pipe and the undercarriage of the vehicle.

Its located on the radiator passanger side about 3" below the radiator cap.

If it has one it will be located on the bottom of the radiator. If not, then just remove the lower hose to drain the radiator.

Should be in housing at end of top radiator hose

if there is no drain petcock on lower radiator tank, removing bottom radiator hose at radiator is the only way to drain radiator

Look at the rear of the radiator approx. 1/3 from the top

If it does not have a drain plug, just simply remove the lower radiator hose.

Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. It should be in the metal housing the hose is clamped to.

Remove plug or open petcock at the bottom or rear of the radiator or remove the lower radiator hose
