From what I've experienced, up to 1995, they don't have a crank sensor and 1996 and later has one. It would reason that it would be a lot of work to get a crank fitted or cut and then install a timing chain cover to accept the crank sensor. Other than this. I would think it would work. Maybe look for a kit that would do this for you. Good luck. yes but would be different wiring
It is in the throttle body.
how to change the fan belt on a 1995 Chevy blazer vortec motor?
Mine is on the Drivers side of the Block, Behind the Intake Manifold.
Apparently, there is none. They started using them in 1996.
The 4.3L.
No it will not. The design of the 2002 Transmission is different.
how much should it cost for tranny flush on 1995 s-10 Chevy blazer 4x4 4.3lt vortec
Will a Chevy blazer engine fit in a Chevy s10 pickup
Assuming we are talking about the 4.3l, vin W engine, it is located on the driver side of the Vortec intake manifold. It has a RED electrical connector plugged in to it. I am fairly certain it has 2 wires.
At the left rear under the engine.
First of all Chevy did not make a vortec engine in 1987 or 1995, those engines are TBI / Throttle body injection engines. And yes they will interchange with no problems.
The valve is at the front of the engine just behind the A/C Compressor. Its just above the thermostat. Be careful as for some unknown reason GM has designed this valve without polarity. It can be installed upside down which will yield less than impressive results. Where is the EGR valve located on a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer with a vortec engine?
