If it's an EFI engine you do not adjust the mixture screw. The mixture is computer controlled.
ka24 engine
It should be a KA24. It's a 12-valve engine that works better for trucks, IMO, than the 16-valve (altima) engine that went in the '98 and later models.
KA24 engine is 4.3 quarts with the oil filter
Try the wiring harness its a long shot but they dont last forever grab the wiring harness where it crosses to the engine from the body and give it a good yank around while the car is running if ti stops then it can be a broken wire in the harness. Also try interigating the ECU for the Fault code that should give you a good idea where to start
right behind the alternator on the truck and in the intake by the aac valve on a stanza ang axxess
no they are different.
43 2 1
Under normal conditions should be lifetime 150,000-200,000 miles
Yes it will. All the engine parts are the same for the KA24 2.4L model, I'm not so sure about the KA24DE, probably a little different. I am currently, upgrading my hardbody engine with the 240's intake manifold and header. They are the exact same motors.
it has a ka24 2.4l dual over head cam
Yes, ka24 from 96 will fit in 1992. There a couple more sensors and a different ecu from the obd 2 compliance for the 96 engine. Put you could run everything off the 92 electronics. If your talking about a 2 liter turbo SR20 it will also fit but will require inner fender well modification (aka hammer)
