A 350 Chevy motor will fit in a 1984 camero, a 350 turbo automatic transmission. Will have to trade motor mounts and transmission mounts.
a 700r4 transmission will also bolt up in place of the origonal transmission. a 2.8 v6 trans wont bolt up to a v8.
The 350 wasn't available in the Camaro in 1984, and even if it was, the practical answer to your question would be NO.
if your caprice has a 305 or 350 already there shouldn't be a problem. otherwise new or custom motor mounts will be needed, also a tranny to match up to the 350 from the camaro
That would mean the entire trans was switched to the earlier turbo 350 transmission. Mark
No camaro came from the factory with a 5 speed and a 350 the only way they could have both is if you did a swap and its worth it i did it in my 91 camaro rs and i love it! The iroc`s came with a 350 but they are all automatic.
I have a 1991 z28 350 car and installed 5 speed in it. I had a friend stay with me on a gsxr 1000 and we maintained and steady speed by his speedo of 159 mph!! All stock camaro except tranny!!
I'd do it for about $350 - both sides.
HAD MINE DOING 147mph MANY YEARS AGO.
no
turbo 350 or a turbo 400 turbo 400 has rounded pointed area at end of pan..newer models got a early model 700!!
Considering the 1996 Camaro Z28 already has a 350, the answer is yes
depends on the motor type, transimission etc. For example my 1983 camaro has a 350 5.7 in it but that was not the orignal motor. The chances of ur 92 camaro having a 350 are not good seeing as you are asking a question like this. It also is determined by if ur car is fuel injected or carb.
Yes.
