Turbo 300, Turbo 350, Turbo 400 and 700R4 are the first ones that came to mind.
Factory would have been a 350 TURBO.
700r4 NEW ANSWER: That would be the 400 turbo
Yes but you may have to shorten the drive shaft if it is a 350 turbo going to a non electronic 700r4
turbo 350 or 700r4 turbo 350 or 700r4
if its overdrive its a 700r4 if 3speed it should be a turbo 400 It came factory with a 4L80E Transmission
I guess you can if you want. But I don't know WHY you would want to. the 700R4 is a MUCH better transmission. If you change, your fuel milage will be WORSE and the Engine will turn more RPMs. ( Hard on engine )
If it has overdrive it is most likely a 700R4 transmission, if it doesn't,it is most likely a 350 turbo.
No turbo 350's in 1992.
YES.
A 350 Chevy motor will fit in a 1984 camero, a 350 turbo automatic transmission. Will have to trade motor mounts and transmission mounts.a 700r4 transmission will also bolt up in place of the origonal transmission. a 2.8 v6 trans wont bolt up to a v8.
