no the body lines are different and wouldn't line up.
I,m pretty sure 69 will fit and possibly 67. all years 1967-1976 will fit- 1967-72 have the metal inside tops and vent window- 1973up are plastic w/o vent window but will bolt up
yes I believe 72 was the last year of the 340 and in 73 they started with the 360.
Not much as there are very few Pintos left. But to a Pinto owner needing an engine it is worth something. I would think a good engine in perfect running order would be worth $1,000. An engine needing an overhaul would be worth $500. But that is just my opinion. Ask around local auto salvage yards and see what they are getting. If they have one. They are rare.
In a chiltons repair manual for 72 dodges.
a 440 engine will fit but you have to use motor plates to secure it into the body and any 4 speed from a 383 or 440 will work.
The 440 was detuned to 280 hp in 72
6 and one ninth = 55/9, 1 and five eigths = 13/8. LCD is 72 so 440/72 - 117/72 = 323/72 = 4 and 35/72
the pancake engine will fit in any 72 - 79 bus without modification. the only issue is what size fly wheel to use to properly mate it to whatever transaxle is in the bus.
Yes, but the '72 engine is dual port, while the 69 is single port. Which means tou will need new manifold(s).
They were detuned in '72, rated at 280 hp
Assuming 82 and 72 are in the same system of measurement, yes. But an 82 centimetre table cloth will not fit a 72 inch table.

72 will not divide equally by 17. You can get 4 lots of 17 into 72, with a remainder of 4.
