If your talking about the 400(m) style motor then no it won't. The 400 has the "big block" bolt pattern, you would need a 4 sp from a big block motor to fit.
no a 258 amc and ford 302 have same bolt pattern
It all depends on the type of transmission the truck has, if it is manual than manual transmission fluid is used where if it is automatic, automatic transmission fluid is used Not always, my 91 302 with a 5 speed manual uses auto fluid, a lot of manuals do.
The answer is no. A 302 or 5.0 will NOT bolt up to a 4.6 Liter 4r70w transmission or visa versa.
The Chev 302 small block and the 400 small block share bell housing patterns. So this would work allowing things like correct pilot bearings are used. Why you change a sweet running screamer like a 302 for low rpm dog like the 400 I will never understand
YES IT WILL THE ONE THING YOU HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR IS IF THE 351 IS A 351C OR A 351M THESE ARE BOTH BIG BLOCK. THE 302 AND THE 351W ARE SMALL BLOCK SO YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM BOLTING IT UP. actually the 351c is a small block and the 351m uses both the small block and big block bell housing bolt pattern
As long as the 302 is from a similar year it will bolt right in. The only difference between the 289 and 302 is the 302 has a slightly longer stroke.
Sorry, no.
no, motor mounts are different as well as the transmission bell housing
In a 1969 Mustang , 302 with 2 barrel carburetor , the point gap is ( .017 with automatic transmission ) and ( .021 with manual transmission )
Not sure about the bl, but a D6ZA-6392-BC is a manual transmission bell housing for a Mustang II with a 302 V8 with a 4 speed.
On a 1968 Ford Mustang 302 cubic inch V8 : point dwell ( 24 to 29 ) - with manual transmission point dwell ( 26 to 31 ) - with automatic transmission
depends on the engine. My 302 has a Mazda 5 speed almunium cast in it.
