GM says no. it only interchanges with the 97
4L60E transmission.
They both use the 4L60E.
4l60e
The v-8 and v-6 transmission bell housings are a different size and you can't change the bell housings. So no. won't work.
The 4l60e came in the zr2.
NO. They are not even close. Will not interchange.
Any 4L60E transmission, 1993 and up. The mechanical 4L60 and 700R4 from 1992 and earlier will not work.
No 1995 was a transition year from the 1993-1994 OBD-1 to the 1996 and up OBD2. A 4L60E out of a 1995 has to be in another 1995.
That would be the 4L60E
The S10 nomenclature was dropped after 1994... from that point on, it was just known as the Blazer, while the K5 was dropped and replaced by the Tahoe.Answering your question, that vehicle will have a 4L60E auto transmission... any 4L60E from 1993 to present will work, so long as it matches the vehicle drive (e.g., 2WD transmission for 2WD vehicle, 4WD transmission for 4WD vehicle).
Will a 2000 blazer transmission fit a 1998 s 10 chevy 4x4 truck
the 4.3l came with the ever popular 4L60E in 2wd vehicles, this is a computer controlled transmission and is usually slave to the ECU.
