Absolutely! It bolts to a 305 exactly the same way it bolts to a 350... It's completely interchangeable.
The 200-4R 4-speed overdrive automatic
will bolt up but you may have to replace the flex plate ot tourque converter, and possibly the wiring the gos into it
Seriously? A 305 Chevy motor does not take "transmission fluid"! The transmission takes transmission fluid, and the motor takes oil. The 305 should hold 5 quarts of oil I believe. yes, the 700R4 transmission is the standard trans for the K1500 with a 5.7 350 engine. 305 is also with the 700R4 transmision.
