I have never heard of it being done and I personally don't think it's physically possible. I don't know much about the MkII Supras but I believe that the engine bay is smaller than a MkIII so I'm not sure the engine would fit.
Also, 7m's are not the most reliable engines. They're famous for constantly blowing both smoke and head gaskets.
If a 7m would fit (and you've got some extra cash) you'd be better off getting a 1jzgte. They're stronger, insanely reliable engines (you could shoot it and it would still pull harder than a 7m) and capable of a lot more power. So if you ever decide that you wanted to go turbo pretty much all you have to do is strap them on and feel the g's.
7mgte doesnt have a distributor. it has coil packs. only 7mge has distributor
I believe the 7mge n/a and 7mgte turbo ct26
buy a honda
When you turn the ignition on the CHECK ENGINE light will not light up at all.
The cars that have a 7MGTE engine are a 1986.5-1992 Toyota Supra MKlll. This car came out in Japan between 1987-1993. The Toyota Cressida Mark ll, the Toyota Chaser and the Toyota Crown also have this engine type.
firing order for 7mge & 7mgte is 1 5 3 6 2 4
If it's the factory motor it will have either a 7MGE or 7MGTE. Both are 3.0 inline 6 motors but one is turbo and the other isn't.
there is no distrobutor on a GTE only a GE motor the GTE is coil/ignitor ingnition
You are only slightly right, in the states there was the 7MGTE (single turbo) from 86.5-92..... then the 2jz came about in the mk4 which had the TT option later on. but to answer the ? about the twin turbo supra in 1992 they made a TT model in japan the engine code is 1JZGTE it is a 2.5ltre twin turbo 87-92 which in my opinion is and awesome motor , they also had the 7mgte in earlier models of the mk3 the 1992 supra came with a single turbo and not a twin turbo. the twin turbo came to-be a year later in the 1993 MKIV generation supra.
I dont know, is it a 7mgte or a 7mge. You can go to suprastore.com and they have all the info u need on supras, and many links.
yes .I thank no
4 Passengers can legally fit in a Toyota Supra (MKII-MKIV).
