Yes, With no problems.
Chevy didn't offer a 350 in an 86 Camaro, but if they did, it would theoretically work in an 87 Caprice.
Yes
the 1986-87 lg4 engine had a mechanical fuel pump and an electric in tank pump.
Depends on the engine...
Depends on the engine...
You could get a 5.7 liter (350) but it had to be in the IROC Z package , If memory serves me right it also had to be automatic and with four way disc brakes. Most all you find out there are 5.0 liter (305) and have drum brakes on the rear. My father ordered an 87 IROC in the fall of 86 with a 5.7 Liter.
if your caprice has a 305 or 350 already there shouldn't be a problem. otherwise new or custom motor mounts will be needed, also a tranny to match up to the 350 from the camaro
.045
Depends on what engine it has...
half of 350 is 175, 2 consecutive numbers that add to 175 are 87 and 88, so the answer to your question is 86, 87, 88 & 89.
87-95
