The Dodge Stealth was manufactured in Japan, the sister car to Mitsubishi's 3000GT. Japan's decade-long recession in the 90s had much to do with the Stealth's demise. The Stealth was intended to rebrand Dodge and Chrysler by identifying with a sporty car.
the 3000gt yes as long as both either manual or auto but cant interchange
I have a 93 dodge stealth, a rebaged Mitsubishi 3000gt. My fuses are located under the hood in a black plastic enclosure. I think its on the drivers side.
It comes stock with a 222 horsepower. Most people believe it had the same engine as all of the dodge stealth's produced but they are wrong. The dodge stealth had 160 horsepower SOHC in their base model and the 3000GT had a 222 horsepower DOHC in their base model. However, in 1997 they started to make SOHC 3000GT's and then they had the same horspower base models.
It is not. The GS is a tranny for an I4, so its not quite wide enough to match up to the V6 block. And if I remember correctly, the 94 manual was a 6-speed. You'd need to get the tranny from a 3rd generation Eclipse GT (I know this works because I did it on my 97) but this only works if you have a SOHC motor, which Mitsubishi didn't put in the 3000GT until 97, but Dodge put it in the Stealth from the beginning. You're probably gonna have to hunt for a Stealth/3000GT parts car.
yes it will
It was built from 1990-2001 and was renamed the Mitsubishi 3000GT in most marketing purposes. You can still buy one today, but it will hardly compare to the newer cars out there.
Just go to 3sx.com the have pretty much anything you need for a dodge stealth or 3000gt
