the engine that you have in your 01 cavalier WILL NOT work in a 95-00 cavalier. They changed the type of motor that they used in 01. They went from the 2200 I4, to the 2.2l Ecotec in 01. It has more h.p. stock and the spec are completely different then the 3rd gen motors. It will work but you have to change the top end of the motor in other words the block is interchangeable It will fit into the 1997 because cavaliers have sets of years that the cars have same parts like for a 1995 u can fit a 86 engine because Chevy didn't change their specs. I have a 01 trans in my 96. So as long as u get the right specs on your engine it should match ur trans and it will work.
2200 hours is 10:00 PM
It is 8:00 or 8am.
That engine would fit any Honda civic 88-00 with the right motor mounts, and will fit right in into any other Acura integra
yes it should fit, the only thing different might be the fuel injection unit on top of the engine but the engine will definitely fit.
the year motor is 2002 and frame is 2000 Not directly bolting no, I have seen it done but it takes fabrication. and no I would not try an 02 750 motor in an 00 600 frame as these are very differant. The 00 600 was a SRAD which is more like a 98-99 750
Yes. I just installed an '02 Spectra motor in my '00 Sephia.

no, it ill not, from 95-99 Chevrolet used the Isuzu transmission in their 5 speed models, from 00+ the used the getrag transmission, the later of the two being the better, as its a little more noisy it is a better trans
The cost isin't to great, but, the pain comes with the installation. Drilling the rivets, removing the window, removing the window regulator, then the window motor and then replacing it all back to where it was. Expect a few cuts and scrapes....
$15,000 .00
It is the same for both motors (2.2L and 2.4L), so yes the fuel pump should be the same in all Cavaliers/Sunfires between the yrs of 1996 and 2005
