Will a 96 4 cylinder 3 speed trans 31TH work on my 1996 3.0 V6 Plymouth Voyager if I switch the bell housing Is this as easy as it seems to be?

The transmission case is one piece and the bell housing is not changeable. You would have to swap all of the internal pieces form one case to the other.
