Not likely
First of all how do you know your head is warped cracked or no good lets start at the beginning
The head will need to be inspected at a machine shop. They can tell you if it is warped or cracked.
Either a warped head and blown headgasket or a cracked head. An intake gaslet will also blow and let it in on a 4.3. I had it happen.
That is the most typical thing to cause a warped head. A warped head is a severe diagnoses and not the first thing that would come to mind for a problem. Don't know what the issue is but if you have a problem that has lead to you think you have a warped head and you haven't had a extreme over heat of the motor I will bet you don't have warped head.

you have a warped/or cracked head,or blown head gasket
Bit of a tricky one ... It all depends on the condition of the cylinder head. If the cylinder head is warped then replacing the head gasket won't solve your problem. A warped cylinder head can be skimmed (if not too badly warped). If the cylinder head is badly warped then it would be much easier to replace the head than fit another engine.
It depends on if you have been driving it with a bad gasket. Most garages will have to send out the head to be tested to make sure it is not warped. I had a cracked head gasket but the head did not need to be machined. The repair cost me $750.
