no because of the different engine sizes and the ports wouldn't match up to the cylinders, you would loose horse power and have a restricting exhaust
Will a jeep v6 tranny work on a v8 motor? Usually no.
sbc v8 engine, transmission with the correct sbc v8 bolt pattern, different exhaust system, v8 wiring harness, a better understanding of how to work on cars
One with a V8 bolted to the front of it !
The exhaust on a V8 differs from that on a V6 due to the fact that a V8 uses an "X"pipe to connect the mid-pipe to the cat-back while a V6 uses a "Y" pipe to connect this mid-pipe to the cat-back. This is because V6s only come with one muffler/tip, where as the V8 comes with two.HOWEVER, the V8 cat-back section is interchangeable with the V6 if you use something like the Mustang V6 dual exhaust adapter kit. it depends, with a v6 or v8?
Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine in a Ford Mustang ( V6 and V8 )
The single exhaust V8 for 1987 had about 150 hp. The 1988 with dual exhaust was 160 hp. V6 ?
Two if you have a V6 with single exhaust. One before the cat. converters and one after. A total of 4 if you have the V8 with dual exhaust
